The Body Shop Haul

So as you may think, it looks like I went a bit crazy at The Body Shop, and boy did I!!
I originally went in specifically for the Vitamin E moisturizer because I had gone through all my skincare at home and tossed everything that I no longer used or that was old. More importantly anything that was leaning on the more chemically side. I had posted about my skin woes here so take a look to find out more.  I ended up leaving with alot more because they were having some good deals going on in store that I just couldn't pass up.
There was a kit that had a full sized vitamin e cleanser, vitamin e hydrating toner, vitamin e body butter and the vitamin e day moisture, all for only $35 which was a steal seeing as how normally all four of those items bought separately would have been $61!
As well I picked up the vitamin e face mist, and the warming mineral mask because of how much I loved the befine warming mask (posted about here) and they were having a buy two get one free so I added the moroccan rose body milk which I have to say SMELLS DIVINE!
Then at the counter I just popped a lemon hand sanitizer in my basket because I have been loving the fresh lemon scent lately.
Overall it was a definite success and I cant wait to tell you all my thoughts on these products!

Are you a fan of The Body Shop?  What are some of your favorite products?

A New Favorite

I am fortunately blessed to have pretty a pretty good under eye area. I have never been one to have really bad dark circles unless I am surviving on very little sleep. Just as well I never really have a problem with bags or general discoloration. That being said I do like to still conceal under the eyes just to brighten and hide anything that may pop up occasionally.
Lately I have been using this, the Garnier Skin Renew Anti Dark Circle Roller Ball. Now thats a mouthfull! I have been loving this! Its so lightweight, its creamy and perfect for lightly concealing and brightening. I just roll a bit of this under my eyes, let it sit for maybe 30 seconds and then dab it in with my finger or a brush and it smooths out and covers without looking cakey or gross.
I would really recommend anyone to at least try this out and if you do have more under eye problems try using this as a base and then a corrector over it. It really brightens and just blends in with your skin so well like nothing is there at all. I love it and will be repurchasing it for sure. Which says alot since I barely ever repurchase anything. haha.

What are your favorite under eye concealers? I have heard good things about the bobbi brown creamy concealer!

The Best Shave Lotion Youll Ever Find!

I found out that the ever so popular EOS makes a shaving cream and was quite intrigued. Before this I would always use a typical shaving foam type of product. At first when I started using this I was a little put off because the consistency is very much like a lotion. Just a little lighter. However I was so very wrong, I love love love love love this shave lotion and will never turn away! You can use this wet or dry and its so moisturizing and amazing.
It leaves the skin very soft and is so silky on your legs or underarms or wherever you are shaving.... It does a good job at staying put when your in the shower and as your glide your razor across your skin, you are sure to escape those horrible red bumps you can sometimes get after shaving. Since using this shaving has become less of a chore and more of an enjoyment. They are pretty cheap ranging if I remember correctly from $4-6 which is dang cheap for what you get. They come in different scents and my favorite is the vanilla bliss. Smells divine! If your in the market for a new shave cream CHECK THIS OUT! :)
Your sure to love it!

Skincare Crazy!

Ok so lately I have been battling some changes with my skin, I have always had pretty sensitive skin though I haven't always known it. I recently found out that I suffer from mild rosacea which is why my skin is quite red most of the time and why I flush quite easily. I also recently broke out massively and was trying to figure out ways to cure my woes. I have decided to try and go more natural as that usually works better with sensitive skin types and especially with rosacea. So I went through all my skin care items and through out loads of crap. BUT then I realized I was left with not a whole lot in fact I dont have a single full sized moisturizer so now I am on the hunt!
Some skincare brands that I have my eye on are:

If you have any other recommendations PLEASE let me know. I have basically given up on drugstore skincare as not a whole lot of their ingredients are the best or easily absorbed through thinner skin such as mine. Anyways, I hope your all well and let me know if any of you out there also suffer from sensitive skin or rosacea and any tips or tricks are welcome! :)

Sebastian Color Ignite Shampoo and Conditioner

I bought these at Ulta probably a month and a half going on two months ago. I was excited to use them because they claim to enhance your hair color by highlighting the different tones and such. They were on sale and right then and there I should have known....

HORRIBLE!

I was swapping on and off between these two and another shampoo and conditioner I am trying out at the moment and yesterday was the final string. First off the shampoo really deeps cleans your hair, I love the way it makes my scalp feel, because it does work like a clarifying shampoo in the way it leaves your strands feeling squeaky clean. HOWEVER, no matter if I just used this on my scalp as it would rinse through the rest of my hair it dried out the remaining strands and my hair would feel like straw.

So then came the conditioner which is really odd just for the fact that you are supposed to shake it up and then it comes out almost like a foam, but more of the texture of whipped cream. I was intrigued yet worried a little. It didn't spread well through my hair and did absolutely nothing as far as conditioning! My hair would feel a little better as I rinsed it out but then as my hair dried once out of the shower, From root to tip my hair felt like STRAW! I have never had this problem with any shampoo or conditioner before and I have tried using just one on its own but it seems they are the same. No matter what I did, the same outcome.
Also since my hair was left feeling super dry and gross, I noticed hours later my scalp would feel greasy and oily and like it was three day old hair....
Needless to say don't waste your money on these ones, there was a reason they were on sale....

UGH. So if you were looking at them, wondering, no need. Just pass em on by.

Sorry for the Absence!

So I wanted to apologize for being gone for a while! Life has just taken a bit of a turn lately. I have been searching for a new job, one more connected with the world of beauty and I am in the process of being considered for a counter manager position at one of Estee Lauders makeup counters.

Lets just pause a moment for how awesome it would be if I can land this!

Ok so, anyways, that has been going on as well as just life and all the ups and downs of my personal things. BUT not to worry more posts coming soon and I have been going through my makeup and need to get rid of a bunch of stuff so I am thinking about putting a bunch of it up on my ebay account, or doing a blog sale. I dont know which one is better. Let me know k?

Hope you all are doing well and how have you been lately? Whats new in your life?

Nail Polish Haul

Its not like I need anymore nail polish but I was once again suckered in to these fabulous colors and deals so here is what I got!
L-R (Fast Track, Argo, Smoke and Ashes, Luxe and Lush)
Got these at Ulta and can I just try and explain how much I am in love with the last color on the right. I am so excited to put that over every nail polish I wear for a while! Not very often do I buy the little sets but I seemed to like all of these colors and thought why not, and I am not sure if you can tell how big these are but they are much bigger then the OPI little ones they come out with.

L-R (Ocean, Jet Set for Paris, Cloud)
These I picked up at Target just paroozing on my lunch break from work (I work at Starbucks across the parking lot) and thought 1. I dont have colors such as these and 2. What cute spring.summer colors!

So what colors are you into this coming spring and summer for your nails?
